2005, year of the rooster
According to the Eastern Zodiac 2005 is the year of the Rooster.
This year will be exceptionally good for the application of scientific achievements to production. The year 2005 will also be a great period for creative works; great time for the emergence of new talents. Good thing have occurred in previous Rooster years, such as 1945, 1957, 1969 and 1993.
World War II, the “war to end all wars,” came to an end in 1945, and in 1957, integration began in Little Rock; the Treaty of Rome established what was then called the Common Market in Europe, the forerunner of the current European Union, and even Chairman Mao began to relax restrictions in China.
In another Rooster year, 1969, the United States and Soviet Union signed a nuclear non-proliferation treaty, Apollo 11 landed on the Moon, and, of course, we had the “Summer of Love” at Woodstock.
And during the last Rooster year, 1994, Nelson Mandela was elected the first black president of formerly white-controlled South Africa.
So Rooster years appear to portend reconciliation, love and an end to violence. This world these days could certainly use a year that embodies those attributes.
May all ganoi.com members experience this latest Year of the Rooster as one of peace and prosperity for themselves and their loved ones.
