INTRODUCTION
Dear visitor, welcome to our website. The purpose of this initiative is to provide and share information, knowledge and expiriences about maybe the oldest gamefowl breed in the world, the Asil (also known as Aseel). Other goals are to improve communication between Asil breeders around the world, to develop breeding and conservation guidelines. And last but not least to stimulate the founding of international Asil breeder communities. This website whenever needed will also focuss on historical, cultural,geographical and language aspects as these factors all had or still have minor or major influence on Asil breeding and distribution of the breed to other countries. We thank you for your visit and hope that our information will be of any help to you.

To make this website work it is of utmost importance that every Asil (Aseel) breeder, fancier or breed enthusiuast as much as possible contributes to the website by posting or forwarding information about the Asil (Aseel) breed.
